THE PROBLEM

Due to an unusually long winter season, retailers were becoming anxious about the delayed spring/summer beer-selling season. To get consumers thinking about fun in the sun, despite the freezing temperatures and late-season snowstorms, Shock Top needed a way to remind retailers and beer drinkers that summer fun is always just one Shock Top away.

THE PROBLEM

THE SOLUTION

California sunshine to the rescue! In just three weeks, we planned and began a cross-country roadtrip and social media event to transport West Coast summer sunshine to the East Coast to thaw the winter-weary Northeast. Specially branded Volkswagen Beetles complete with the iconic Shock Top mohawks on the roof and integrated beer-tap systems were used to transport the California “summer vibes” and spread the word that nothing could stop the refreshing summer taste of Shock Top from breaking through the winter blues.
